The Karabakh Liberation Organization marks 21st anniversary of the occupation of Agdam
Activists of the Karabakh Liberation Organization (KLO) on 23 July commemorated the Alley of Martyrs in connection with the 21th anniversary of the occupation of Agdam region by Armenian forces.
They put flowers on the graves of the people died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, as well as the memorial to the Turkish soldiers who died during the liberation of Baku Bolsheviks in September 1918.
In conclusion the members of the KLO burned the flag of Armenia.
Most part of Agdam was occupied after weeks of fierce battles in June-July 1993. Agdam city was captured by the enemy on July 23.
Great role played in the fall of Agdam played the change of power in Baku as a result of in a military mutiny by the Colonel Suret Huseinov , that causes disruption in the Azerbaijani army. –06D-
