Turkey and Armenia are going to open land border
Baku/13.07.22/Turan: Demining work has been carried out on the Armenian-Turkish border in the Kars region for 20 days with the participation of an Israeli company, the Turkish newspaper GazeteKars reported.
The agreement on opening the land border was reached on July 1 in Vienna by the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey, Ruben Rubinyan and Serdar Kilych.
In an interview with Radio Liberty, Rubinyan confirmed that the agreements reached would soon be implemented.
The land border between the two countries has remained closed since 1993. Turkey took this step as a sign of solidarity with Azerbaijan, which was subjected to Armenian aggression in those years. --02D--
