Turkish Prime Minister Criticizes Washington for Its Ties with Armenian Separatists
Baku / 15.03.18 / Turan: Azerbaijani lands are occupied by Armenia, and over a million people have become refugees and internally displaced persons. Ankara is ready to render all possible assistance to Baku in resolving this issue on all international platforms. This was stated on Thursday by Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, who participates in the work of the Global Baku Forum in Baku.
The Prime Minister stressed that ethnic cleansing and genocide were committed against Azerbaijanis in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"Sooner or later, justice will triumph, and the lands of Azerbaijan will be liberated from occupation. I am sure of this," he said.
Yildirim further noted that the US authorities should bring to justice the perpetrators of the crimes in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan, and "not receive awards from the separatists of Nagorno-Karabakh," referring to the reception of the leader of the Karabakh separatists Bako Sahakyan in the US Congress. -02D-
