Turkmen Foreign Minister Arrives in Baku
Baku / 10/18/18 / Turan: Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov is on a visit to Baku, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan said October 18.
The purpose of the visit is to hold bilateral consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.
The topic of the consultation has not been disclosed, but most likely it can be Turkmenistan"s participation in regional transport projects. First of all, it is the connection to the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project and the prospects for the implementation of the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline with subsequent connection to the South Gas Corridor.
Earlier, official Ashgabat gave clear signals that it was interested in participating in these projects. -02B-
