 I. Horyakov  said that if Ukraine does not find an alternative way to deliver cargo to Central Asia, it will lose a  year a million tons of freight traffic. Ukrainian officials said that to increase the attractiveness of the corridor through Georgia and Azerbaijan, it is necessary to reduce tariffs and speed up the transport of goods.

"Rates should reduce not only the railway, but also companies carrying cargo by ferry across the Caspian Sea. At the same time it is necessary to reduce the charges at the port," he said.
