Ursula von der Leyn is in Baku to sign a gas agreement
Baku/18.07.22/Turan: President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyn arrived in Baku on the afternoon of July 18.
She will take part in the signing of an agreement on increasing gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Europe.
“The EU is turning to more reliable energy suppliers. Today I am in Azerbaijan to sign a new agreement. Our goal is to double gas supplies from Azerbaijan to the EU in a few years.
Azerbaijan will be a crucial partner for our security of supply and on our way to climate neutrality, she wrote on Twitter. --02B--
