USA is ready to participate in the restoration of the liberated territories
Baku / 16.12.20 / Turan: On December 15, the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev received the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Earl Litzenberger, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reported.
According to the same source, the parties touched upon the development of bilateral relations. The ambassador noted that the United States attaches great importance to relations with Azerbaijan and their current level is quite high. It was also noted that the United States recognizes and supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The Ambassador strongly condemned the violations and war crimes committed against the civilian population and the military and called on both sides to investigate and punish those responsible. He expressed condolences to the injured and wished the wounded to recover.
The US government is ready to participate in the restoration of the liberated territories and the restoration of material and cultural heritage, supporting international humanitarian organizations. -02D-

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.
