Uzbek President"s Official Visit to Baku
The President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, arrived in the evening on October 11 for an official visit to Baku.
For two days, he will hold talks with the president, prime minister and other officials of Azerbaijan. They are expected to sign a package of intergovernmental agreements.
One of the main purposes of the visit is to discuss Uzbekistan's membership in regional transport and energy projects, according to a diplomatic source. -02D-

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
