Baku/22.02.23/Turan: In recent days in Armenia and in Karabakh, the issue of dismissing Ruben Varadanyan from the post of “State Minister of Karabakh” has been updated. A number of Armenian television channels claim that in the near future the “president” Araik Harutyunyan will sign a decree on his dismissal.
According to the same sources, Gurgen Nersisyan, who currently holds the post of “General Prosecutor Karabakh,” will be the new “state minister”. Nersinyan himself confirmed that such a proposal was made to him, but he had not yet made a decision.
In turn, Ruben Vardanyan made it clear that he would not voluntarily resign. This was confirmed today by his adviser Mesrop Arkalyan. “Vardanyan will not resign, and in case of dismissal will not leave Artsakh,” he told the "Freedom" radio station.
“Regardless of whether there will be any political changes or not, the devotion of Ruben Vardanyan Artsah will remain unchanged, and he will do everything to resist the existing challenges,” Arakelyan said. ---02D---
