Yerevan and Baku are set to unblock roads - Overchuk
Baku/20.09.21/Turan: Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan are set to unblock transport and economic ties in the region. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk told journalists in Yerevan on Monday.
"The trilateral working group holds meetings. The last, seventh meeting took place in mid-August in Moscow. All parties are determined to unblock economic and transport ties in the region. There are debates over ways to win this objective, " Sputnik-Armenia quotes Overchuk.
It is obvious that the restoration of transport routes will create new opportunities for expanding and increasing trade turnover, including between Armenia and Russia, Overchuk added.
In turn, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan noted that for many years there have been restrictions on the transport communication. It is obvious that the opening of communications will have a positive impact on the economy; however, it's d be too early to talk about specific figures. -02D-
