Zelensky thanked Aliyev for humanitarian assistance to Ukraine
Baku/04.10.23/Turan: President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky called President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on October 4. According to the press service of the President of Azerbaijan, Zelensky expressed gratitude “for the tangible humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine,” as well as “for the support of the energy sector, especially in the winter.”
During the telephone conversation, support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states was once again expressed, views were exchanged on regional security, existing threats and formats for future cooperation.—06B-

According to a report by Turan correspondent, the discussions took place behind closed doors and lasted for over an hour. No statements were made to the press following the meeting. Furthermore, conference security prevented journalists from asking questions to the meeting participants.
