Baku/16.02.23/Turan: The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced an operation in the Khazar district of the capital, as a result of which 10 drug dealers were detained.
Allayar Iskenderli, who was involved in the sale of drugs in the village of Bina, was detained with about 2 kilogram of heroin. The detainee said that he bought drugs from an unknown Iranian citizen named "Umid" on social networks.
During other police operations in the suburban villages of Mardakan, Turkyan, Shuvelan and Shagan, 9 more people involved in drug trafficking were detained. These individuals were found to have significant quantities of heroin, opium, marijuana and methamphetamine.

On July 17, a safe with 130 thousand dollars and 700 grams of gold was stolen in one of the private houses in the village of Sarai in the Absheron district. During the operational activities, two Chinese citizens were detained while trying to leave Azerbaijan. 17,306 dollars, 9586 dirhams of the UAE and 147 grams of gold products were seized from them.
