1.7 kg of Gold Confiscated from Passenger from Istanbul
Baku airport customs seized 1 kg 772 g of gold products from, Janpolad Ismailov, a citizen of Azerbaijan, who arrived in Baku on a flight from Istanbul.
The State Customs press service reported, in the passenger's suitcase they found 82 necklaces, 79 bracelets, 95 pairs of earrings, 72 rings, 9 pendants, and 6 sets of rings and earrings.
During the proceedings, Ismailov said he had purchased these products in Istanbul for sale. On the question of why these things had not been declared, he said he was not aware of the need to do so.
