2,042 new cases of COVID-19 infection
Baku/18.09.21/Turan: Over the past day, 2,042 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 3,224 people have recovered, 29 infected have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on September 18.
To date, 470,985 cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in the country, including 430,717 people recovered, 6,280 have died. The number of active patients was 33 988.
Over the past day, 15 666 tests have been carried out.
Also, in the last 24 hours, 61 657 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 17,226, with the second - 44,431 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 7,925,249, of which 4,605,958 were vaccinated with the first dose, 3,319,291 with two doses. -0-
