Baku/24.08.21/Turan: In Azerbaijan, over the past 24 hours, 3,583 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered, 1,644 patients have recovered, and 30 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 24.
In total, 398,034 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country since the beginning of the pandemic, including 348,454 people recovered, and 5,370 died, treatment of 44,210 active patients continues. Over the past 24 hours, 14,504 coronavirus tests have been carried out.
Also, over the past day, 79,949 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19. The number of those vaccinated with the first dose was 59111, the second - 19838.
The total number of vaccinated in Azerbaijan amounted to 6,249,673, including 3,772,533 vaccinated with the first dose, 2,477,140 people with the second dose. -02D-
