Baku/ 07.07.22/Turan: Over the past 24 hours, 40 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, 49 people recovered, one - died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on July 7.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 793,546 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, including 783,550 people who have recovered, 9,719 have died, and the number of active patients is 277.
Over the past 24 hours, 2,348 tests for the detection of COVID-19 have been carried out in the country. --06B--

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
