Baku/13.05.20/Turan: 65 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Azerbaijan, 54 people recovered, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on Wednesday.
According to the same source, two patients - born in 1949 and 1961 have passed away. The total number of infected was 2758 people.
Of these, 1789 were cured, 35 died, 934 are being treated in special treatment hospitals.
The condition of 30 patients is grave, 44 are of moderate severity, and the rest are stable. A total of 208.546 tests were carried out. — 06D—

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
