755 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/17.12.21/Turan: Over the past 24 hours, 755 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Azerbaijan, 1,671 patients have recovered, 18 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on December 17.
To date, 608 815 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, including 583 914 people recovered, 8 167 died, and the number of actively sick people is 16 734.
Over the past day, in connection with the detection of new cases of infection, 10,804 tests were carried out.
Also, over the past day, 27,321 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 3,158, with the second - 3,611, and with the booster - 20,552.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 11,017,859, including the first dose of the vaccine 5,134,947, two doses - 4,634,404, a booster dose - 1,248,508 people. — 06D-
