A blue supermoon can be seen tonight
Baku/30.08.23/Turan: On the evening of August 30, a Blue supermoon can be observed in the sky. This phenomenon is observed when the phase of the growing Moon coincides with the perigee of the lunar orbit, that is, when the Moon is at the closest distance from the Earth, the information of the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after Tusi.
The average distance between the Earth and the Moon is 384,400 kilometers, but today it has decreased to 357,341 kilometers.
