A bust was installed in Derbent to the former Minister of Communications of Azerbaijan Huseyn Rasulbekov
Baku / 09.12.19 / Turan: On December 9, a bust was installed in the city of Derbent of the Russian Federation, artillery general, former commander of the air defense forces of the Baku Military District of the USSR, since 1975, Minister of Communications of the Azerbaijan SSR Huseyn Rasulbekov.he worked as a Minister of Communications until the end of his life.
A stamp published in independent Azerbaijan with a face value of 250 manat is dedicated to Rasulbekov. A memorial plaque was fixed on the wall of the house in Baku, where he lived.
The Azerbaijani press reported that the initiative to install a bust comes from the Azerbaijani side, which incurs the costs of its manufacture, installation, as well as the improvement of the adjacent territory.
In 1985, one of the streets of Derbent was named after H.Rasulbekov (1917-1984), at the intersection of it with 345th Dagestan Rifle Division, a bust is installed. —0—
