A documentary on human trafficking
Film presentation "What is human trafficking?" took place on Monday at the Diplomat hotel.
The film was shot by order of NGO Women's Crisis Center and with the support of the American Bar Association.
This is the first documentary film on human trafficking that was shot in Azerbaijan and has educational purpose.
The representative of the American Bar Association, Robert Støre called trafficking human tragedy. He believes that such films can prevent human tragedy. Illusions about "rich life" can turn a man into a victim of trafficking, he said.
The head of the crew Eldzhan Mammadli thanked trafficking victims who agreed to participate in the film. According to him, the work created breaks for several hours or even days, for the victim refused to talk, not to remember their experiences.
Then the film itself was shown, which in addition to sexual exploitation also showed child labor, with the children exploited not by strangers, but by their friends and relatives.
According to the psychologist of Women's Crisis Centre Azad Isazadeh, this category of people is caused serious psychological trauma. They have a problem with social adjustment. He urged the public to show sensitivity to the category of persons, stressing that such films should be also shot in the future, so that people do not become victims of trafficking. -05C04-
