On Thursday morning, at about 0615 in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea near the Zhiloy island (11 km south of the Apsheron peninsula), a Russian cargo ship experienced a technical failure with one of the engines.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, a rescue vessel arrived at the scene.
The results of the rescue operation will be announced later. The situation in the vessel, as well as its name, is not reported. -03D-
