Activist of PFPA arrested for 10 days (updated)
Baku / 10.07.17 / Turan: By decision of the Sabail district court, Fuzuli Huseynov, a member of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), was arrested on Monday for 10 days. He was found guilty of "not subordinating to the lawful requirements of the police," Huseynov himself told reporters when he was taken out of the hall and put in a police car. -06D-

Participant of Single Picket Brought to Court
Baku / 10.07.17 / Turan: A member of the Popular Front Party Fizuli Huseynov was again detained in the Sabail district of Baku on July 9.
On the morning of July 10, he was taken to the district court, where he still was at 12.00. Turan was informed about this by the head of the Youth Committee of the Popular Front Party Ilham Huseyn.
Recall that previously Fizuli Huseynov was twice detained by the police for holding single pickets demanding freedom for political prisoners.
This time, Huseynov was detained when he just left the house and was going to protest against torture of the youth activist Giyas Ibrahimov.
On July 19 Huseynov was detained near the subway station May 28, when he was standing with a poster Freedom to Political Prisoners. He was taken to the 20th police precinct of the Nasimi district. The next day he was released, appointed a fine of 200 manats. -03B-
