Baku/05.29.18/Turan: Yesterday a group of activists of the Movement for Democracy and Welfare (MDW) intended to lay flowers to the bust of Mamedamin Rasulzade in the territory of the Baku Tire Plant. However, the police did not allow them to enter the territory of the enterprise, reported by the head of the MDW, Gubad Ibadoglu. According to him, on the Day of the Republic and on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan People's Republic, activists wanted to lay flowers to the bust and hold a subbotnik around it, as the monument and the territory around are in a state of neglect.
"We were prevented from doing this. This is an indicator of the zealous attitude of the authorities towards the identity of Mamedemin Rasulzade and the heritage of the ANR," said Ibadoglu.-06D-
