Baku / 21.09.19 / Turan: On Saturday in Frankfurt, a congress of the organization of political emigrants AND (Democracy in the Name of Azerbaijan) took place.
The congress was attended by guests from Azerbaijan, former political prisoners - the deputy chairman of the Popular Front Party Gezal Bayramli and the youth activist Ilkin Rustamzadeh.
Two other former political prisoners, Nigar Hazi and Seymour Hazi, could not come to the forum as the German Embassy refused to issue visas to them.
The congress called on Azerbaijanis living abroad to support compatriots in their homeland, who, despite all the difficulties, are fighting for democracy, human rights, and free elections.
