Another journalist interrogated in the prosecutor's office in the case of Afgan Mukhtarly
Baku / 21.06.17 / Turan: Freelance journalist Natig Javadli was interrogated for about three hours at the Investigatory Directorate of Serious Crimes of the Prosecutor General's Office.
The interrogation was connected with the criminal case against journalist Afgan Mukhtarly and with the activity of the Internet resource MeydanTV. A receipt was received from the journalist about the non-disclosure of the contents of the interrogation.
Earlier in the Mukhtarly case, the journalists Sevinj Vagifgizi, Khadija Ismayilova, ex-head of Musavat Isa Gambar, the current head of Musavat Arif Hajili and the head of the staff of this organization Gyulaga Aslanli were interrogated.
The authorities accused Mukhtarli of performing the function of transmitting money from abroad to oppositionists in Azerbaijan. Now the authorities are trying to get evidence of this activity and to present it as an undermining of the state system and interference by the West in the internal affairs of the country.
Observers note that information about the receipt of money in Georgia and their transfer to Azerbaijan could only be received by the authorities with the help of official Tbilisi.
* Mukhtarly was kidnapped on May 29 in Tbilisi and handed over to the authorities of Azerbaijan. The journalist was accused of illegally crossing the border, smuggling and using violence against the border guard. Last week, the European Parliament adopted a resolution demanding the release of Mukhtarly. -06B--

Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
