Defense in the trial of the journalist  Rasim Aliyev’s death  is dissatisfied with the results of the preparatory hearing.

A lawyer of the family of the deceased, Fariz Namazlytold reporters that defense insisted on the return the case for further investigation, as the preliminary investigation was conducted with violations and, in particular, has not been investigated the medical negligence. Five accused of involvement in the death of journalist Rasim Aliyev were  brought to justice. Today Baku   Serious Crimes held a preparatory meeting; independent media representatives were   not allowed. Rejecting most of the defense motions, the judge scheduled a hearing on January 12.Protecting the aggrieved party petitioned to return the case for further investigation and subpoena medical clinical center of the city. After the meeting, the court rejected the request to return the case for further investigation, and the petition on the doctors remained unconsidered.

Earlier, the lawyer of the injured party stated disagreement to allocate cases against the player Huseynov in a separate proceeding. The athlete is charged under Articles: 307.1 (not a report on the planned crime) and 307.2 (concealment of the crime) of the Criminal Code.
