Traffic police clarifies the issue of penalties
The presence of car first aid kits, fire extinguishers and emergency stop signal is provided by the Road Traffic Act, said in an interview with Turan d the head of Department of Public Relations of Baku Traffic Police Vagif Asadov, commenting on media publications that the police requirements in the law are unfounded and there is no such requirement.
Asadov said that the penalty for lack of first-aid kit is 5 manat. However, in the absence of fire extinguishers and emergency stop signal or a fine of a protocol is not provided.
"Our goal is not writing protocols or penalties, and ensure compliance with the requirements of the law," said Asadov. In this connection, will be increased penalties for drunk drivers. This will happen in May, when the new Code of Administrative Violations will come into force, said Asadov.-05D-
