Baku/21.05.21/Turan: Employees of the State Border Service prevented an attempt to smuggle narcotics with a total weight of 20 kg and 454 grams through the state border of Azerbaijan.
According to the report of the Press Service of the Border Guard Service, on May 20, near Amirzeitli village of Beylagan region during the search of the bag belonging to residents of Baku Aslan Mammadov and Umud Mammadov drugs with a total weight of 8 kg 684 grams (7 kg 700 grams of opium and 984 grams of heroin) were found.
At the same time, as a result of joint operation of State Border Service, Internal Affairs Ministry, and State Security Service, 11 kg 770 grams of drugs (7 kg 625 grams of heroin and 4 kg 145 grams of opium) belonging to Gudrat Salahov, resident of Hasanabad village of the same district, were found in an abandoned house in Kurdili Island of Neftchala region. -03-
