Authorities seek to stop street slaughter of cattle
Baku/18.07.18/Turan: The representatives of the Food Security Agency continue raids in the capital to suppress the activities of illegal slaughter houses that do not meet the requirements of food security and sanitary and hygienic standards.
The Agency reports that on July 18, during recent raids, persons engaged in illegal slaughter of cattle were warned. Similar raids after June 11, when a corresponding order was issued by the head of state, prohibiting the slaughter of animals on the streets, roadsides and other places that do not meet sanitary and hygienic standards.
Violators will be subject to sanctions provided by law, the Agency said. -02D-
