Azerbaijan toughens fines for parking violations
Baku/01.02.22/Turan: Azerbaijan is improving parking regulations, stops, parking lots, including paid parking, and toughening fines in this area.
Milli Majlis adopted today the amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences which toughens penalties for violation of parking regulations.
According to the innovations, the driver will be fined 10 manats for leaving the car at the parking lot without paying, or without extra paying for exceeding time limit.
Currently, this fine is applied only for violation of parking rules.
Also, a fine of 10 manats will be charged for violations of traffic signs and marking lines, creating obstacles for the movement of other vehicles.
Besides, the fine for parking other vehicles in parking lots designated for cars of disabled people will be raised from 10 to 20 manats. -06В-
