Baku/26.02.18/Turan: Up to 50 Azerbaijani political emigrants held a protest on February 26 in front of the Armenian Embassy in Berlin. The gathered held slogans condemning the war crimes of the Armenians against the peaceful population of the city of Khojaly in Nagorno-Karabakh in 1992 and demanded the punishment of the perpetrators of these crimes. The participants of the action accused the current leadership of Armenia of committing crimes against humanity and called them to account.
The action was organized by an active blogger from the Netherlands Ordukhan Teymurkhan and other activists.
The rally was agreed with the authorities, and the police did not interfere in the course of the action. -16B-

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "Thanks to the urgent and necessary measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spread of the fire to neighboring areas, including nearby residential buildings, has been prevented," the statement reads. Efforts to extinguish the fire are still ongoing.
