Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office Put Blogger Ordukhan on Wanted List
Baku / 07.12.18 / Turan: The Azerbaijani Prosecutor"s Office opened a criminal case against blogger Ordukhan Teymurkhan Oglu Babirov, known as Ordukhan Teymurkhan, living in political emigration in Holland. He is wanted. It is reported by Radio Azadlig with reference to a source in the Prosecutor's Office.
The decision to declare Ordukhan on the wanted list was made by the Nasimi district court of Baku on November 29.
Teymurkhan is charged under the articles: 214-2 (open calls for terrorism), 220.2 (organizing mass riots), 281.2 (open calls against the state, made repeatedly or as a group) of the Criminal Code.
The press service of the Prosecutor General"s Office or the blogger himself have not yet commented on this information.
Teymurkhan is known for his harsh criticism of the government of Azerbaijan in social networks. Since February 2017, his relatives in Azerbaijan have been detained and administratively arrested. -16D06--
