Azerbaijani Sports Public against Exclusion of Wrestling from Program of Olympic Games
On Thursday in the park Sahil of Baku people took action in support of saving wrestling in the program of the Olympic Games.
The action was attended by representatives of the National Olympic Committee, the Wrestling Federation, the sports community of Azerbaijan, champions and winners of the Olympic Games, World and European Championships.
The action participants adopted an appeal to the President and the Executive Committee of the IOC with a request to keep wrestling as an Olympic sport.
Recall that the Azerbaijani athletes have become champions and Olympic medalists mainly on wrestling. -0-
