Azercell and the Azerbaijan Judo Federation honored as “Brand of the Year”!
Social campaigns conducted by the leading operator in cooperation with the Judo Federation secured multiple awards at Türkiye's prestigious “Felis Awards”
The “Felis Awards”, one of the most important awards in advertising and marketing, highly recognized Azercell initiatives for their significant impact and innovative approach. Thus, the social campaigns implemented by “Azercell Telecom” in partnership with the Azerbaijan Judo Federation received 10 awards across various categories in the “Felis Azerbaijan”, organized within the “Felis Awards” framework. The partners also received the title of “Brand of the Year”.
At the awards ceremony on November 8 at the Halic Congress Center in Istanbul, Sona Abbasova, Director of Corporate Communications at Azercell Telecom, stated: “Azercell’s primary goal in every social initiative is to bring meaningful benefits to our society and country. Guided by these values, in partnership with the Judo Federation, we have launched impactful campaigns such as “White Suits Girls”, “I Promise!”, and “This Is the Way”. Recognition of our projects in both international and national competitions underscores the strength and success of our collaboration.”
The social campaign “White Suits Girls” won seven awards across six categories, including the contest’s prestigious Grand Prix. This initiative, which attracted 1,000 girls from the regions of Azerbaijan to judo classes, was also recognized in categories such as “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/Corporate Image,” “Integrated Advertising Campaigns,” “PR Campaigns,” “Use of Data,” “Use of Digital, Mobile and Social Platforms,” and “Use of Integrated Media.”
Another notable project, “This Is the Way,” which focuses on raising awareness about the dangers of drug addiction, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and encouraging youth participation in sports, earned awards in the “Branded Music Video” and “Use of Print and Outdoor Advertising” categories.
Azercell and the Azerbaijan Judo Federation’s joint efforts have consistently received acclaim both locally and internationally, underscoring their dedication to addressing critical social issues and fostering positive change through sport and community engagement.
