Baku Transport Agency to be subordinated to the capital's mayor's office and the Intellectual Transport Management Center to the Ministry of Internal Affairs
Baku/07.02.22/Turan: On 7 February the head of the state signed a decree on the transfer of the Baku Transport Agency to the capital's mayor's office.
This decision is explained as being due to the need to improve passenger and cab services and improve the management system in this area.
According to the text of the decree, the Baku Transport Agency will be formed anew, and a new statute and regulation will be developed.
Added to this can be until recently the Baku Transport Agency has been an independent public legal entity. This agency was responsible for organization of bus passenger transportation within Baku.
İn line with the same decree of the head of the state, the Intelligent Transport Management Center of the capital was transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.-02D-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
