Bilateral Commission to Close the Gabala Radar Station to Begin in February
In February the joint Azerbaijani-Russian commission to close the Gabala radar station will begin, stated Elman Abdullayev, head of the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.
The Co-Chair of the Azerbaijani side is Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov.
The Russian representative has not been identified. The duration of the commission has yet to be determined.
According to the lease agreement, all of the internal equipment belongs to Russia and will be removed. Experts say most of the equipment has been outdated for a long time. -02D-
