Baku / 05.11.18 / Turan: Blogger Ilya Varlamov, who was not allowed into the country two days ago by Azerbaijani border guards at the Baku airport, arrived in Azerbaijan on Sunday.
This is what he wrote on his blog: "After I was deported from Baku, I flew to Istanbul - it was the only convenient flight to leave Azerbaijan more quickly, and not spend the night in the hall for the deportees ... For the evening, I already bought a ticket to Grozny ... But my plans again not did not come true. https://varlamov.ru/3161341.html. A call... An unknown Azerbaijani number is determined on the phone ... A man appears to be a border guard officer. He apologizes for yesterday"s incident, says that an error has occurred, and that there are no complaints to me. Yesterday the staff made the wrong decision. We are ready to reimburse all your expenses, please come back, we will buy you a ticket. Later a few more people call me, everyone apologized for the deportation, they bought tickets, and I give up my ticket to Grozny. The fourth time in a short trip, all plans change," wrote Varlamov.
Now in Baku Varlamov is met with honors. He published a photo in which the border guard hands him a bouquet with flowers. In Baku, they are waiting for me at the exit from the plane. A young girl in the form of a border guard hands me a huge bouquet. For the first time in my life someone gives me flowers, nice.
Earlier, Barlamov was not allowed into Azerbaijan, stating that his presence in the country is undesirable. The blogger was surprised because he had never visited the occupied territories. He suggested that the ban was imposed in connection with his previous posts: "Bad Baku", "How Azerbaijanis make fools of guests", "Dead Baku", "Baku: a dangerous and inconvenient city". -06D-

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
