Border Guards Prevent Smuggling of 12 Kg of Drugs
Baku / 23.03.18 / Turan: Employees of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan stopped the attempt to import 11.9 kg of narcotic drugs from Iran into the country.
The smuggled goods were found in a boat close to the southern sea borders of Azerbaijan off the Astara region. The border guard vessel with a view to checking stopped a boat carrying inhabitants of the Shahagaji village of the Astara region, Aliaga Guliyev and Seymur Guliyev, who violated the rules of navigation in the border waters.
During the inspection, 11.9 kg of drugs, which these people tried to import into the territory of Azerbaijan, were found.
