Citizen of Turkey Tried to Illegally Export Currency
Baku / 06.08.18 / Turan: Customs officers stopped the attempt to smuggle a large amount of currency from the country. So, when checking the luggage of a Turkish citizen before the Baku-Istanbul flight, the customs officers noticed a "suspicious object". The passenger stated there were no items to be declared in the luggage. However, when checking the baggage, $ 17,700 was found in a package for wet napkins.
