Baku / 30.08.17 / Turan: Today there was a civil forum dedicated to the results of a three-day campaign in social networks on the Internet under the slogan Liberate Political Prisoners.
The campaign was initiated by a number of youth organizations, including NIDA.
For three days on Facebook and Twitter hundreds of posts with photos of political prisoners with brief information about them were published.
Today, the results of the campaign were discussed at the forum with the participation of political leaders, civil society activists and youth organizations, as well as families of political prisoners.
The idea to continue the campaign was supported. -06D--

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
