Communication Ministry"s Statement
Hacker attacks by Armenian specialists have been prevented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) of Azerbaijan.
According to the official report of the ministry, for the last few days, the Armenian side through a variety of methods made attempts to suspend the work, as well as change the content of the websites of the Azerbaijani state agencies, news agencies and entertainment portals.
In their media the Armenians openly confess to their illegal activities and are proud of them, and they release false information, in particular, on stopping the operation of the website of the President of Azerbaijan.
"We note that this is an obvious lie. The site of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic is in full working order. All attacks on the resource were successfully repulsed.
Small problems that arose on the sites of several agencies were eliminated in a short period of time and measures are taken to repel the cyber attacks. We also note that the messages of the Armenian side regarding the alleged hacker attacks on 30 Armenian resources from Azerbaijan have not been confirmed. It is another misinformation by the Armenians to justify their actions," said the ministry in the official report.
The ministry stressed the illegality of the steps taken by the Armenian side, due to the violation of international norms, as thus it limited the rights of people to access information and conduct business. -17B-
