Baku / 26.04.17 / Turan: "The demolition of the building near the multi-storey building at 56 Huseyn Javid Avenue was carried out in accordance with the law. The owners of this structure were paid compensation according to market prices."
This was stated to Turan by the company Olympus, which made the demolition on the night of April 25 on Huseyn Javid Avenue.
The construction company said that the neighborhood of a multi-storey building at the specified address had to be arranged according to the pre-planned schedule. However, the delay with the demolition occurred at the request of the owners of the buildings located near the multi-storey building.
"Demolition of old buildings, as well as construction work was carried out in accordance with the law. The owners of these buildings had an agreement, according to which compensation was paid to them more than the required amount," the company said.
Recall that on the night of April 24 to April 25 a group of residents tried to block the road on Huseyn Javid Avenue. Thus, they protested against the demolition of buildings in the courtyard of a multi-storey building at 56 Huseyn Javid Avenue.
Residents told Radio Azadlig that the owner of the building at this address wants to demolish the buildings in the yard. They claim that they were deceived by the construction company, since the area of the demolished apartments does not correspond to the real state of affairs. They were deceived also in the question of compensation.
Yesterday night, these apartments were demolished. --0--
