Conference with participation of the Platform "Open government"
Baku / 12.04.17 / Turan: The issues of involvement of civil society in the implementation and strategic road maps for the development of various sectors of the economy of Azerbaijan were discussed today at a conference organized by the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms under the President and the Open Government Platform.
According to the press release of the event, Natig Amirov, the presidential assistant for economic reforms, reacted positively to the call for cooperation with civil society.The meeting was the beginning for the formation of a new model of cooperation between NGOs and the government with a view to assisting civil society in the implementation of the Strategic Roadmap for the Development of the National Economy and its individual blocs.
During the conference, civil society activists Sabit Bagirov, Rena Safaralieva, Vugar Bayramov, Abil Bayramov, Gadir Ibrahimli, Osman Gunduz and others made proposals. Activities will be continued on various topics.-06D--

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
