Council of State NGO complains of violators
The Council of State Support to NGOs held a press conference at the hotel Park Inn on the results of 2013 today.
The Chairman of the Council Azay Guliyev called activities of the Council for 2013 successful. He said that in the Act of Parliament "On public participation" was the contribution of the Council, which had moved to electronic control.
Azay Guliyev noted , in 2013 the total amount of the financed 503 projects was 3 million 415 thousand manats.
He also touched upon the issues in the activities of NGOs. In particular , some NGOs do not fulfill their obligations, even minimally . Many of them cannot adapt to e-governance .
In 2014 the Council received more than 480 projects.
The Executive Director of the Council Farasat Gurbanov noted that the projects involved more than 200,000 people in 226 projects and various publications were published.
According to him, some NGOs do not respond to e-mails and do not send reports .
The budgets are prepared incorrectly and so on. Soon the names of "NGO violators " will be announced, Gurbanov said. -05C04-

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border.
