Creation of state agency for polite public service
President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the establishment of the Presidential State Agency for Services to Citizens and Social Innovation (SASCSI) and improvement of serving citizens by public bodies.
The new state agency is being created to improve the transparency of agencies, better serving the citizens (comfortable, courteous, following ethical norms, and the use of social innovation), as well as accelerating the transition to electronic services.
The decree provides for the establishment in the state agencies serving citizens, "Easy service" centers.
The new agency will carry out unified management of these centers, and coordinate their work, to conduct monitoring and evaluating their activities to promote mutual integration of data bases of these structures, accelerated transition to electronic services.
"Easy Service" should serve the citizens regardless of their residence registration and on all calendar days.
Administration of the President should prepared within two months the provision on the new agency.
At the same time, the presidential decree abolished previous decree on the establishment of the State Agency for e-government under Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. –06D-
