Criminal Case Filed on Self-immolation of Refugee
A criminal case has been started under Article 125 (bringing to suicide) on the self-immolation of an internally displaced person from Agdam, Sahib Ismail Oglu Nasibov in front of the administrative building of the State Refugees Committee in the Sabunchu district of Baku on July 27.
As the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office said, forensic medical examination and other necessary investigative actions have been appointed.
Nasibov was delivered to hospital with burns, but his health is normal now and he will be released tomorrow.
Nasibov resorted to this desperate step because he cannot solve his housing problem. But today the State Refugees Committee said that he had a house, but sold it at the end of last year and demanded new housing. -06D-
