Baku / 27.01.18 / Turan: Customs officers at the Baku airport stopped the attempt of illegal export of a large-scale foreign currency. The State Customs Committee reported that on January 27 that the Turkish citizen who was leaving for Istanbul did not declare 17,000 thousand dollars.
The citizen of the Russian Federation in the same way tried to take to Moscow 19 thousand dollars. On both facts an investigation is under way.
According to the rules by the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, a currency and securities exceeding the equivalent of $10,000 transported through the customs border of Azerbaijan must be declared. -06D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
