The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported on the elimination the Armenian sabotage and intelligence group in the western sector of the border.
"Today at 13:30 in Tovuz region the Armenian reconnaissance and sabotage group tried to get through the line of contact. As a result of the vigilance of advanced units of Azerbaijani Armed forces, this attempt was prevented. The group was found at close distance, and then neutralized.
As a result, four members of the group were killed, and one - Karen Petrosyan, born in 1989, was arrested. According to the documents, he is a resident of the village of Chinari of the Brd region of Armenia.
Currently, work is underway to investigate and plan group activities," the press service of the Defense Ministry. -06D-
