Students of University of Languages Protest against State Examination
Baku / 05/30/17 / Turan: Students of the Azerbaijan State University of Languages launched a protest action in front of the university building on May 30. They are unhappy with the introduction of the state examination.
The students say that upon admission they were told that they would finish the university without a state exam. They are also outraged that the state examination will be conducted in 9 subjects.
Students demand that this innovation does not apply to graduates of this year. The protesters refuse to talk to anyone, except the Rector of the university.
In the information department of the university, in turn, they referred to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers "On the rules of education at the level of bachelor's degree".
The students do not disperse yet, waiting for the Rector.
The Ministry of Education has not yet commented on the situation. -06D--
